About Steele Good Music

Steele Good Music is an independent record label specializing in the sweet sounds of timeless southern soul. In our music, we channel the creative geniuses of both modern soul artists and generations past, including the influences of Al Green, Wilson Pickett, Isaac Hayes and T.K. Soul, as well as our own talented performer—Charles Blakely.

Born in the Baptist churches of the Deep South in the 1950s, southern soul was the driving force for the Rock ‘n Roll explosion of the 1960s. Its artists inspired a generation of popular music, revolutionizing the industry. We’re here to continue that tradition and bring you the outstanding music that helped change American pop culture forever.

At Steele Good Music, we produce a musical styling that’s all our own. From the feel and groove that makes this music so special, to the rhythmic force and powerful lyrics that touch the soul, we create the sounds that will make you want to get out, dance and re-live the best of times.

The slow beats and catchy grooves that made southern soul a truly special genre decades ago are still alive and well at Steele Good Music. Continue to check back with us for our latest music releases and videos, as we regularly update this website with our creative work.
